The Cinéma Beaubien and The Ciné-park Dante: A History dating back 8 years!
Once again the Cinéma Beaubien will be part of the Ciné-Parc Dante!
A true pillar of the neighborhood, the famous theater constructed in 1937, does not require any further introduction. However, did you know it was once threatened with closure in 2001? Faced with this news, the whole neighborhood mobilized to save this communal treasure. It was at that moment that the Cinéma Beaubien became an enterprise based on social economy.
The Cinéma Beaubien: an institution of culture and entertainment
An agent of culture and entertainment, it is an unavoidable spot for the residents of the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough and for visitors as well! You will likely be charmed by its retro look and its comforting allure: its like being in your own living room! The Cinéma Beaubien distinguishes itself with the overall quality and variety of its projections, ranging from author cinema, to foreign cinema without obviously forgetting its roots, Quebecois cinema. Today the administration of the Cinéma Beaubien is also proud to conduct two other art and essay cinemas, the Cinéma du Parc and the Cinéma du Musée. Cinema lovers rejoice!
Sharing the same values, these three cinemas now form the spearhead of a bigger movement aiming to provide Montrealers with an authentic cinematic experience!
A program curated for all tastes
