29th EDITION OF ITALFEST

ItalfestMTL is back in Montreal's Little Italy with several of its shows located on two stages on St-Laurent Boulevard, between Shamrock Avenue and St-Zotique Street. Music, art, gastronomy, fashion and Italian talents from here and the Bel Paese will be proudly celebrated!

The ItalFest will also offer a look at Italian traditions through the local regional associations, which will be on site. Several artisanal, gastronomic and historical facets of Italy will be exhibited.

FRIDAY AUGUST 12

8 p.m.: Gianni Bodo, local trilingual pop-rock singer with his band
9 p.m.: Manny Blu, Canadian country-punk singer from Nashville

On the stage at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Saint-Zotique, singers Gianni Bodo and Manny Blu will follow one another on Friday evening from 8 p.m.
A second stage located at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Mozart Est, will welcome various artists and musicians (Paul Cargnello in DJ Set, Marco Sanelli, December Rose, Pino Gioia and Makenzie among others) from Friday 5 p.m. at 8 p.m. daily.

SATURDAY AUGUST 13

8 p.m.: Lili-Ann De Francesco, local pop singer with her band
9 p.m.: Joe Cacchione, trilingual comedian and professional host
9:30 p.m.: “Moda Sotto le Stelle”, fashion show under the stars with Italian-Canadian designers and international brands

Still on the stage at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Saint-Zotique in the evening on Saturday, the public will be able to appreciate the singer Lili-Ann De Francesco and the humorist Joe Cacchione before attending the "Moda Sotto le Stelle", the fashion show under the stars with Italian-Canadian designers and international brands.

SUNDAY AUGUST 14

3 p.m.: Competition for the best dessert hosted by Joe Cacchione.
9 p.m.: “Barber of Seville”, opera featuring international singers and a maestro from Italy, with a 30-piece orchestra

Finally, Rossini's opera "The Barber of Seville", interpreted by international singers and a maestro from Italy, will close the event on Sunday at 9 p.m.
